Almost everyone wanted to Do or Be extraordinary…
Watching some successful people who made an enormous impact airs that flame inside us.
But does this flame last enough to become the fire which can eventually burn all the ordinaries inside?
Most probably NOT…
You know you could do better than what you are doing currently…
You also know you can be more beneficial to yourself than others around you.
Despite all, you end up being ORDINARY…
Sometimes even below the ordinary.
Desire, wish, inspiration or goal isn’t helping you CHANGE.
ONLY THE ACTION HELPS TAKE ACTION AND HENCE THE “CHANGE”
You come back from work and lie on your bed. After taking little rest, you go for food. And then pick up your phone or hang out.
For more than a week, you daily feel that your room is messy, and you should clean or set it.
But even after ten days, you couldn’t find the time to do so.
TAKE A SMALL STEP INSTEAD OF NOT TAKING ANY
One day you did the minor thing.
You set your bed sheet. Then felt the urge to clean the table lamp too. You also arranged the chair or table.
Eventually, you end up making your room fully organised without even realising.
TAKING ACTION HELPED YOU TO TAKE ACTION!
Many times you might have thought to get in shape… do some exercise or join gym.
Did you succeed in doing any?
What about one push up daily? Yeah, that will lead you to two push-ups, or three and you might end up going to the gym.
MINI STEPS WILL GIVE THE INSTANT GRATIFICATION THAT FURTHER MOTIVATES TO DO MORE.
Don’t think with this approach you would be able to make CHANGE.
After some time with small steps and achieving any success in the way.
You will falll into the trap of “FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT“.
Yes, you read right.
It’s a trap. After some time of doing great, you would unknowingly begin to fake your success or end goal.
Instead of taking more and more actions, you would start thinking more about your minor achievements.
And that will create the image that you have already achieved something significant.
While in reality, you haven’t.
You are still on the shore. Still not able to swim.
Because rather than focusing on the water level and the vast horizons of the sea, you are wrongly assuming the bank like your achieved success.
Get into the water…
Leave the shoreline…
Keep your eyes on the other side to the vast horizons…
Keep the fear of drowning inside while also going further into the water.
This way, you will learn to SWIM, change, and achieve without faking it and being in the water will keep you either pushing or drowning.
So, after you learned to swim and kept yourself in the water, the tides will surely take you somewhere.
Instead of being THERE WHERE YOU ARE CURRENTLY…
while still thinking to CHANGE.
